We know booking a photography session for your dog can feel like a big decision, so here are the answers to the questions we get asked most. If you don't find what you're looking for, we'd love to hear from you. Just get in touch and we'll be happy to help!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Fill out the enquiry form on our booking page. We’ll reply within 24 hours to confirm details and find a time that suits you.

  • That’s completely normal, and we’re experienced with excited, wiggly dogs. We take a patient, playful approach and work with your dog’s energy to capture those natural moments.

  • es. We never rush shy or anxious dogs, and we move at their pace until they feel comfortable. Tell us about any worries when you book. Sometimes the shy ones turn out to be our most expressive subjects. You can also read our guide to photographing nervous or reactive dogs.

  • Absolutely. Just let us know when you book. Some of our favourite portraits include both dogs and their people.

  • Yes, from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Great Danes. The studio is set up to make every dog look its best.

  • Yes. Dogs are our speciality, but we also photograph cats and other pets, and we know how to work with animals from the calm to the chaotic.

  • All sessions take place in our colourful studio in Paralowie, Adelaide, by appointment only. The studio gives us consistent lighting and a calm space with none of the distractions of the outdoors.

  • Sessions are relaxed and unhurried, we work at your dog's pace, not ours. Most sessions run between one and two hours

  • Bring your dog’s favourite treats and any toys that get them excited. Costumes and accessories are welcome too.

  • You'll typically receive your images within two weeks of your session. We'll walk you through everything at your viewing appointment, where you can choose your favourites.

  • Yes, a $40 deposit secures your booking. The rest is due at the time of the session.

  • We accept cash, credit and debit cards, and online payment.

  • We ask for 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Without enough notice, a fee may apply.

  • Please bring your dog clean and brushed. If they’re very dirty or unkempt, we may need to reschedule. A bath and a brush a day or two beforehand is ideal.
